Art From The Flow…

Smiling woman with red curly hair wearing a blue patterned sweater and earrings, looking up with sunlight on her face.
A colorful artwork featuring a bee in the center with rainbow hues spreading outward. A small bottle with a cork is on top of the artwork, reflecting light and adding to the vibrant display.

The resilience, natural beauty, and dynamism of my Southern Oregon home inspire the pieces in my recent shows. I created these pieces to celebrate and engage support for native pollinators, local wildlife, and local vulnerable waterways. I also celebrate the wonder and magic that is all around us, and the many ways we might perceive it. Even reclaimed materials (litter collected from waterways) can sometimes inspire a message of beauty. Water from Bear Creek, Blue Heron Creek, Crooked Creek, Jackson Creek, Emigrant Lake, and rainwater from my pollinator garden was used to imbue the media. Much gratitude to these waters. Light is refracted through the water to inspire the colors – and they are WILD!
